Fran Zaplana, with a strong background in development and a passion for the intersection between technology and business, currently holds the role of Data & Digital Strategy at CONVOTIS Iberia. With more than seven years of experience in the company, he has held key roles for the company. In addition, prior to his time at CONVOTIS he has held different positions, from incubation manager to consultant or developer. His experience ranges from team management and business development to startup strategy and business models. He is a leader in the implementation of Data and AI strategies, as well as in data architecture and governance, guiding clients and teams towards innovation in the digital world.

Salomé Sepúlveda Fontaine is at the forefront of innovation as the Innovation Manager at AI Talentum, a leading digital solutions provider based in Murcia, Spain. As a mathematician with studies in philosophy, project management, negotiation (among others) and an ongoing PhD at UMH in EOMA program, her role in the company covers:

  • Research: offer cutting-edge solutions across different areas in the company by leading research focused on the state-of-the-art questions in various domains including physics and medicine.
  • Data Science: machine learning algorithmic solutions, workflows, design.
  • Project Management: proposals, follow-up, meeting with clients, presentations.

Dra. Francisca Arán Ais is PhD in Chemistry and Material Science, currently she is Research and Development coordinator at INESCOP, the Footwear Technological Centre in Spain (www.inescop.es). With more than 25 years of experience, she works dealing with innovative and sustainable technologies enabling the transformation of the footwear industry towards the new paradigm green and digital. She works in collaboration with the footwear value chain companies, technological centres, universities, industrial associations, etc. She has deep experience on the management and development of international projects focused on new product and processes development for the innovation in the footwear industry in order to improve companies’ competitiveness, in the framework of research and innovation European Programmes. At INESCOP, she is actively involved in the development of several technological demonstrators focused on digital transformation, footwear recycling and sustainability or footwear user experience aimed to demonstrators aimed at bringing emerging technologies closer to footwear companies to accelerate their implementation.
